You will join the Zebra Finance Shared Service Center in Brno with approx. 100 employees and will be leading an EMEA & NALA General Ledger Team. The Team consists of 25 people divided into 4 sub-Teams.
Manage the EMEA & NALA General Ledger Team (lead, motivate, support)
Ensure ledgers are closed in time on monthly basis and all accounts are properly reconciled within given time frame
Develop plans and manage workload allocation
Recommend, drive and implement process improvements
Monitor team performance by using the internal KPIs
Lead the company´s engagement with both internal and external audit
Maintain relationship with EMEA & NALA controllers
Participate in the preparation of local statutory accoutns for Zebra EMEA legal entities
University degree in Finance/Accounting plus ACCA qualification or similar is must
Good people management skills, ability to coach and motivate the Team; previous work experience from Shared Services environment is advantage
Good communication skills, including excellent English, both written and spoken.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles (USGAAP or IFRS is advantage), ability to understand the differences between US GAAP and local GAAP accounts
Ability to prioritize effectively, good problem solving abilities, able to work under pressure and to handle multiple requests simultaneously
Strong Excel and Word skills, knowledge of Oracle is advantage
