POSITION PURPOSE

We are looking for an exceptional Business Development professional with in-depth knowledge of retail technology and its applications across all areas of retail operations.  You'll be an outstanding team player who will join our Strategic Sales team for EMEA, leading at C level on complex engagements with household name brands across EMEA.    The Strategic Sales team for EMEA provides business development support to the sales team across EMEA with a specific focus on providing end user customers with advice and best practice on deploying our PSS solutions within their stores, primarily engaged in all facets of business development engagements, ranging from demonstrations, proof of concepts, Request for proposal (RFP) responses & Pre-Implementation best practice advice.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Work alongside a team of experienced account team members on sales opportunities on a variety of Zebra products to large Enterprise customers in Retail sector with specific focus to promote Zebra PSS
  • Manage PSS GTM partners and partner ecosystem – ensure all PSS partners have the necessary support and Zebra team alignment across EMEA in order to sell and position PSS
  • Manage PSS Independent Software Vendors and ecosystem of software developers
  • Promote PSS at partner events and conferences
  • Work closely with marketing to create and showcase value of Zebra PSS
  • Work with Product business unit to help with ‘voice of the customer’ feedback for future development
  • Help drive the PSS business plan in region

Qualifications

  • QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  •  

    • Outstanding retail eperience, preferably within grocery, demonstrating an understanding of retail store operations eg POS, inventory management, loyalty schemes, self-scan, asset visibility.
    • Technology solution sales experience, working at C level within very large retail customer environments.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good listening and presentation skills
    • English speaker, multi-lingual preferably
    • Demonstrable business development skills
    • Must be able to effectively coordinate across various groups and functional teams both inside and outside of the business.
    • Self-starter who enjoys working in a team to accomplish goals
    • Good attention to detail
    • Ability to travel across EMEA on a weekly basis – particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe
