Sales Engineer Senior, T&L - Germany (f/m)

The Zebra Sales organization is active in engagements for selling Solutions, Hardware and Services to end customers. This department will design and validate solutions that can be replicated with other customers in the region along with the partner ecosystem.


  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure overall customer strategy is maintained. 
  • Direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in Germany, including some international accounts.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the assigned accounts and to the partner community
  • Coordinate all technical sales activities related to prospective accounts.
  • Transfer industry solutions, technical, and product knowledge to customers and partners
  • Provide specific solutions/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.
  • Perform in-depth and high-level technical and high impact presentations for customers and prospects.
  • Drive the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
  • Proactively plan to prevent post sales issues that lead to decline in customer satisfaction and delays of successive phases of a project
  • Yield maximum product and services revenue from each account while driving customer satisfaction
  • Be the voice of the customer to the product development teams
  • Built the fundamental for technical tender responses


  • Preferred Education:
    • A bachelor’s degree or equal in computer science with minor in electrical engineering or telecommunication is desired
  • Key Skills and Competencies:
    • In-depth knowledge and experience on baseline Presales Engineering skills, like intensive customer interaction and support. Ability to explain complex technical solutions easy and clear into different management levels (verbal and in presentations)
    • Experience with mobile computers, RFID devices, scanners, wireless networking infrastructure, wired networking infrastructure, printers and barcode scanners is desired.
    • The position requires a proactive team player with positive attitude, high energy level, and ability to establish rapport and build relationships across internal and external organizations
    • Software development experience on Android or Windows CE/Windows Mobile is a plus.
    • Project Management experience is a plus.
    • Proven solution-integration skills required
    • Proven high-level problem-solving skills are a must
    • Working knowledge of VMWare, servers, network infrastructure, wired protocols and wireless protocols is a plus.
    • German native speaker (or comparable skills) is a requirement
    • English advanced language skills is a requirement
    • Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
