Zebra Technologies is a global leader within the High-Technology arena and our Sales Engineers play a leading role in the success of ours and our customers' businesses.   Partnering with Account Managers, this Senior Sales Engineer will be the technical face of some of our most high profile client accounts in Germany with the goal of driving brand preference for Zebra's technology solutions.   Using advanced presales and integration skill, you'll develop and execute a technology strategy working closely with partners and talented engineering resources - providing technical expertise and driving integration within the customer's technical environment


Key tasks will include: 

  • Directing account and partner responsibilities for key customers Germany, including some international accounts.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to your assigned customers and to the partner community
  • Coordinate all technical sales activities related to prospective accounts.
  • Provide specific solutions/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory; perform high impact presentations for customers and prospects.
  • Drive the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.


We're looking for a real team-plater; a customer focused pre-sales engineering professional to join our team. You'll ideally have the following: 

    • In-depth presales Engineering skills, intensive customer interaction and support.
    • Ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly and easily to various management levels 
    • Experience with mobile computers, RFID devices, scanners, wireless networking infrastructure, wired networking infrastructure, printers and barcode scanners is desired.  Software development experience on Android or Windows CE/Windows Mobile is a plus.  Working knowledge of VMWare, servers, network infrastructure, wired protocols and wireless protocols is a plus.
    • A positive attitude, high energy level, and ability to establish rapport and build relationships across internal and external organizations
    • Proven solution-integration and problem solving skills are a must
    • German native speaker (or comparable skills) and advanced English language skills is a requirement
    • Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred
