Serves as business leaders’ single point of contact for IT related business project development, status, cost, and deliverables. Drives project completion on time and on budget with all commitments met. Promotes a broad understanding of IT roles, responsibilities, and capabilities across the business. Develops business requirements, models current and desired capabilities, conducts gap analysis, prioritizes projects and IT investment, and maximizes IT value creation.  Accountable for relationship with business and IT roadmap.


  • Connects business needs and IT capabilities to provide strategic guidance on business initiatives. Models current and desired states, uncovers business needs, and develops project requirements.
  • Drives and leads requirements meetings for highly-complex IT business projects.
  • Presents alternative solutions and their respective costs, benefits, and timing to business leaders to drive cost reduction and value generation in business projects.
  • Models existing-state and desired-state system functionality. Documents necessary changes to existing functionality.
  • Tracks project planned vs. actual costs on highly complex projects. Drives IT project completion. Assesses quality and value creation. Debriefs projects to drive continuous improvement.
  • Continually tracks business needs to provide short- and long-term strategic direction and priorities to IT budgeting and planning.
  • Assists with creating developing service level agreements and guidelines.
  • Maintains positive relationships with other Zebra Technologies functions and between IT disciplines to effectively guide the development of cutting-edge IT business systems.
  • Maintains expertise in emerging technology and software capabilities as well as state-of-the-art business techniques.
  • Assists in performing moderately complex cost/benefit analysis when researching purchase and investment decisions.
  • Works with the business and IT teams on business case analysis, and creation, customer requirements, project planning and execution.
  • Supports all cross functional teams with product introduction, legal entities, sales models and deliver models.
  • Supports and executes to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures activities as required.
  • Enables cross-functional process alignment and integration spanning Sales, Services, Product Supply Chain and Finance teams
  • Enables end-to-end integration between front and back office functions including Order Management, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and Legal


  • Solid knowledge of Finance and related applications
  • Good understanding of ERP systems and related touch points including SaaS solutions and analytics
  • Experience leading development of end-to-end solutions, applications, processes Ability to lead and deliver complex projects while multi-tasking within a dynamic environment, with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good basic knowledge in Accounting and Finance
