Senior Sales Account Manager

 

We're looking for an accomplised Account Manager to lead end-user engagements across our core verticals in South Africa.  Focusing on a suite of products including Mobile Computing, Mobile Printing and RFID which come together with our partners' solutions to offer world class asset visibility and enterprise mobility offerings, the Senior Account Manager has the primary responsibility for interfacing with existing customers in their named vertical account list.   

 

Zebra has strong presence in its core vertical markets and is a world leader in many of its solution areas. The successful candidate will be required to manage the existing business in the assigned Named Accounts List (NAL), as well as developing new opportunities within those NAL accounts. This will require strong cooperation with our large channel & ISV partner eco-system to strengthen the overall solution proposition, leveraging these partner relationships to ensure full customer coverage.       

Responsibilities

  • Formulate a winning sales strategy. Identify, qualify and close leads and sales opportunities within the assigned scope
  • Drive the sales engagements with all vertical prospects and current customer base within the assigned territory to execute the plan.
  • Be accountable for an annual sales plan and able to articulate your current status and ability to execute to a stretch goal.
  • Grow the install base of key existing accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Maintaining an accurate weekly forecast of all sales activity within the pipeline.
  • Development and maintenance of relationships at multiple levels within all accounts assigned.
  • Responsible for ensuring that customer communication is at all times, clear concise and in-line with company direction.
  • Sales activity requires full coordination with our Pre-Sales Sales Engineering (SE) and Channel Account Management teams. The ability to work as part of a wider team is essential. 

Qualifications

  • Strong, proven  experience in similar positions like sales, sales management or business development, in a relevant company within the IT, Telecommunication and Enterprise Mobility sector
  • A good overall technical understanding of the products and solutions within the Zebra Solutions Portfolio.  
  • Experience of developing customer base.
  • A proven track record in overachieving quotas. Able to work for getting the numbers under pressure.
  • Negotiation Skills at different level of Customers organization
  • Experience in Solutions Sales is preferred
