Overview

Zebra Technologies is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Specialist Advisor and Administrator for learning operations. The person who assumes this role will be responsible for supporting data analytics, governance approach, and administrative approach and best practice for learning and knowledge sharing platforms under the ownership of the Zebra Knowledge Center.

Responsibilities

  • Support administrative best practice and operational approach and processes for learning and knowledge sharing platforms under the ownership of the Zebra Knowledge Center
    • Contribute to Standard Operating Procedure Documentation
  • Serve as point of contact on technical matters with vendor teams for learning and knowledge sharing platforms under the ownership of the Zebra Knowledge Center
  • Serve as the Zebra Knowledge Center point of contact for internal Zebra teams on technical issues such as content related issues, navigation, user experience, etc. affecting learning and knowledge platforms
  • Partner with other learning operations team members and with cross-functional colleagues to ensure that the LMS capabilities, support model, and level of service meet the needs of the business
  • Support customer support cases and outage reports:
    • Implement improvements for systems and processes as appropriate
    • Assume a leadership role in forming and leading external teams to solve problems or improve performance
  • Serve as global administrator of learning and knowledge sharing platforms as required
  • Support LMS deployments and LMS development projects:
    • Ensure business requirements are met
    • Ensure that business requirements are captured in functional requirements and validated in test suites and unit test

Work with the technical lead and project lead to identify and mitigate technical risks for infrastructure projects and business-as-usual operations

Qualifications

       Required:

  • BA/BS degree or the equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience as an IT or learning operations professional
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting enterprise software applications
  • Working understanding of software-as-a-service (SaaS)
  • Education and/or work experience in the field cloud based system administration
  • An understanding of similarities and differences of learning needs for employees, customers and partners
  • Work experience with technical requirements definition and review, and/or with technical test development and review
  • Ability to work with multiple clients and partners at the same time
  • Working understanding of learning management systems and learning standards and

    Desired

  • BA/BS in a technical discipline
  • Experience with learning program deployment and support
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and learning standards and technologies
  • General technical certification (certification in a specific technology)
  • Web-based application design and development, or a similar technical discipline technologies
