To support supplies sales quotations within agreed standards and timescales. Effectively engages in Key Account custom label opportunity both internally and externally and customer interface when necessary.
Create and manage custom label quotations on Oracle, as per ISO procedures to support the achievement of the supplies sales target.
Complete the relevant actions within the correct IT application in a timely manner on receipt of a customer order. Liaise with administration and planning as appropriate to ensure progress of a custom order.
Engages with field based Zebra Business Development and Account Managers across Europe, Middle East and Africa by email and on the phone to support potential sales opportunities by providing information in relation to pricing.
Maintain and grow relationships with all Zebra sales personnel and key accounts to deliver first class customer service and maintain existing business.
Provide feedback to BDM’s and AM’s on quotation requests received directly from customers to enable appropriate follow-up on potential high-value opportunities.
Fully supports the field sales team in their role and assist them with technical requests and pricing enquiries.
Ensure an accurate quote is created efficiently in line with agreed service level agreements. Ensures large value quotes are followed up in a timely manner, information recorded and supplies sales team updated accordingly.
Reviews quotes for large opportunities with Product Marketing/Manufacturing & Production planning to ensure optimum costing.
Liaises with Product Management /Buyer regarding material range, costs, and production lead times
Performs quote and margin analysis as when required.
Provides cover for colleagues within the Sales Office, as appropriate to the demands, enabling ongoing coverage of the whole team.
Demonstrates a proactive approach ensuring the Quote conversion rates are consistently high.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Previous experience of pricing custom orders for a manufacturing company desirable.
Capable of working with large volume pricing requests, therefore proficient mathematical ability required to calculate costs and margins.
Problem solving ability to assess and apply the right solution to a given enquiry.
