    Following an internal promotion, we're looking for an HR professional to report to the Senior Manager HR based near Paris.  You'll handle varied HR activities for all French employees and work as part of a field HR team based across the EMEA region.   This is a hands-on role working closely with sales, engineering  and supporting personnel; you'll provide full cycle HR support across the country. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing best in class support to our managers and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

    Responsibilities

    Labour Relations

    • Prepare Works Council meetings with respect to salary negotiations, complementary health insurance negotiations, profit share, equality and social matters etc.
    • Develop and provide mandatory legal reports for the WC and H&S Committee to include monthly headcount, health and safety reports, annual training plans, annual reports etc.

     Training Plans

    • ·Define the training needs with management and consult with the Works Council to agree an annual training plan.

     Implementation of Global HR Programs

    • Implement effectively and in a timely manner global HR programs across the region, ensuring that any information and consultation requirements are led and completed with the Works Councils.
    • Global HR Programs may include annual merit review, performance review processes, Sales/Management & Profit Share Plan roll out, employee engagement surveys, Onboarding Programs, Leadership and Learning Development Programs, Succession Planning, Hi-Potential Programs, Reward & Recognition Programs etc.
    • Continuously review, develop and maintain harmonized policies, benefits, contracts of employment, systems and processes and driving the employee and manager self-service model.

     Management of Payroll

    • Ensure that new starters, changes and leavers are processed correctly and in accordance with the defined timelines.
    • Ensure continuous effective partnership with payroll providers.

     Management Support

    • Partners with the Country Leaders to support their business objectives.
    • Leadership coaching
    • Managing HR change programs and support managers through the change processes.

    Qualifications

    Successful candidates will demonstrate:

    • Strong varied HR experience, ideally gained from a B2B and sales focused organisation.
    • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches to effect continual improvement
    • Have a true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the employees and managers to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
    • Experience within complex and matrixed work environments and the ability to adapt rapidly to change
    • Proven ability to form and maintain effective and collaborative relationships within a matrix HR structure with TA/Organizational Development/Rewards/HR Shared Service as Centers of Excellence as well as working as part of a global HR function
    • A skilled influencer and communicator, who understands the business needs and requirements whilst exercising professional and constructive HR judgement and skill.
    • A proactive and resourceful approach, escalating when required
    • Experience of change management, ideally within a post-acquisition integration desirable

    • Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, engagement and succession planning programs
    • Success in managing the information and consultation processes with Works Councils, ensuring effective working partnerships and positive results
    • A strong solution focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify issues and drive appropriate solutions.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
    • Fluent in French and English.
    • Minimum of 5 year’s operating as a HRBP covering the full HR cycle.
    • Master’s Degree or equivalent degree in Human Resources
