    As a System Engineer (including Mobile Computer, PSS, Mobile Device Management, RFID, Speech Solutions, and other services according to Zebra’s Services Portfolio Strategy) of Zebra’s Professional & Integration Services Team apply expertise to architect, deliver and support complex business system solutions using Zebra’s products stand alone or integrated with third party product offerings. Services include design, deployment, customization and commissioning of Mobile Computing Solutions.


    System Engineer for Pre-and Post-sales activities:


    Pre-sales (less than 20%): support selling large and/or complex Mobile Computing Solutions (e.g. Mobile Computing, MDM, PSS, RFID, etc.)

      1. Prepare and attend customer meetings
      2. Respond to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs etc.
      3. Create customer documentation (e.g. presentations, Project Designs, Project Scope Definitions, Quotations, etc.)

    Post-sales (more than 80%):

      1. Deliver Assess, Design and Deployment Services for large and/or complex Mobile Computing Solutions.
      2. Deliver complex business system solutions using Zebra’s products stand alone or integrated with third party product offerings. Services include installation, customization and commissioning for e.g. Mobile Computing Rollouts, MDM, Enterprise Software rollouts, RFID, and other Services according to Zebra Service Portfolio Strategy.
      3. Deliver Troubleshooting, Support and Training Services to direct customers as well as channel partners 
      4. Networking, software and security advice and installations

    • Lead by example Zebra’s Vision, Mission and Values
    • Typically requires a university graduation in computer science, engineering, networking or a related field preferably 2.1 or above
    • Must have demonstrated track record of proven success in working in enterprise projects.
    • Must be certified or must demonstrate extensive track record  of success in working in the technical areas key to implementing Zebra’s solutions.
    • Must have in depth knowledge of
      • Mobile Computing and Mobile Computer Operating Systems such as Windows Mobile, CE, Android, iOS,
      • Windows and Unix Operating and Database systems.
      • Wired and wireless Communication standards (LAN/WAN/MAN, etc.), protocols, networking data and voice and how they affect Zebra’s products.
      • Mobile Device Management Systems such as SOTI, Wavelink, Airwatch
    • Must have demonstrated
      • connectivity knowledge within major operating system environments using current standard protocols and the ability to propose and design cross platform system solutions.
      • The ability to plan and perform major systems integration and test system hardware and software interoperability.
      • experience in using proven tools and design methodologies to analyze, document, and specify complex network (WAN, LAN, WLAN) solution.
      • Good communication and team working skills
