  • Overview

    To provide Solutions Consultancy to clients and prospects that clearly communicates how to maximise the value of Zebra solutions to customers business objectives.

    Daily engagement with large, technically complex and demanding customer accounts.

    Set customer expectations and negotiate priorities.

    Travel to client’s site to provide on-site process analysis, consultation, training and assistance to customers.

    Perform review of client business processes and understand relevant operations. Establish and help document processes, procedures, customizations and configuration.

    Responsibilities

    • Participate as a member of the Zebra Professional & Learning Services Solutions team in discovery sessions to understand client's business objectives and solution requirements
    • Be the key ‘partner’ and trusted adviser to customers regarding both solution requirements and potential capabilities to meet business needs by closely understanding customers operating environments and functional use cases
    • Work with Zebra Technical Architects & Zebra partner’s solution & technical teams to design solutions that best meets the client's requirements. Key focus to be on desired outcomes for our Customers
    • Ensure the built solution matches customer requirements, supporting Customer desired outcomes / use cases and enhancing overall end to end solution run time support
    • Understand and be able to articulate Zebra and core partner solution & technology platforms and industry best practice approaches in both the Technical and Solution arena
    • Lead testing to ensure the solution performs as designed to customer business objectives and conforms to the Customers overall end to end solution support model
    • Lead client training sessions
    • Support clients through their go-live process and a play key role in promoting solution adoption and ensuring a smooth & well documented transition into run time support
    • Blend technical knowledge and consulting skills to develop ideas that can be delivered as solutions
    • Work with Technical Architects to understand assigned project responsibilities and help keep the projects on schedule
    • Communicate progress and expectations, identifies initiatives and or opportunities for project or solution improvement to Project Leader for awareness and/ or resolution
    • Participate in weekly Status Meetings with the Project Leader and Business Directors 

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements: 

    • Must be able to travel nationally, up to 80% at times, providing on-site consulting work to clients and have the ability to work remotely from your home office as well as Zebra office locations. Some international travel will be required.
    • Must be able to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills
    • Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping, and business process redesigning
    • Systems & Solutions implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and effective transition into run time support  

    Core Skills:

    • Excellent business process and/or project experience using tools such as Visio, MS Project, and any relational database system
    • Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues
    • Technical aptitude and a high degree of self- motivation to train and achieve CRM application, customizations and installations certifications
    • Excellent business process and best practices experience or aptitude
    • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to build effective customer relationships 
    • Ability to step back and evaluate from an End to End business solutions perspective, to ensure Customer outcomes are achieved via the appropriate use of technology and process improvements  

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Degree educated or equivalent working experience
    • Ability to learn and master new technologies with a technical and math aptitude
    • Experience in the services, solutions and consulting industry with a strong understanding of retail market processes
    • Enterprise-level business project experience with strong process analysis, design and documentation skills
    • Excellent MS Office and MS product knowledge
    • Strong interpersonal skills with superior written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail oriented and customer outcomes focused
    • Strong presentation and influencing skills
    • Ability to engage and work with deep SME’s as well as C-Suite Stakeholders 

    Preferred Skills:

    • Some software development background or experience working for a software company
    • Solutions implementation, management and run time support skills and background required
    • CRM experience with products such as MS Dynamics, SalesForce.Com
