  • Overview

    Reporting to the Regional Rewards lead, this role will help provide comprehensive support for the management of employee compensation and benefit (i.e. Rewards) programs across a number of countries in Europe, ensuring Rewards programs are aligned with our local business needs and Global Rewards philosophy, strategy and guiding principles. Ultimately, this role is responsible for providing long term competitive advantage to Zebra Technologies Europe Limited in terms of attraction, retention and engagement of top talent through Rewards programs in the region.


    • Assists in the development, implementation and management of Rewards programs, policies, practices and strategies in Europe, including base pay, incentives, health, welfare, wellness, pension and savings, life and disability insurance plans, perquisites and allowances.
    • Monitors and evaluates competitive practices to identify and anticipate trends, and recommends appropriate strategies and programs to proactively respond to these trends.
    • Partners with the Corporate and Regional Rewards team, as well with Regional HR, in helping to design and deliver rewards, incentive and equity programs.
    • Partner with Corporate and Regional HR and our vendors to work on the continuing harmonization of Benefits in the region.
    • In their area of responsibility oversees job analysis and job evaluation projects and market benchmarking to ensure consistent application across the organization.
    • Acts as a consultant and partners with HR team, business leaders and line managers to ensure alignment of our Rewards programs to regional and country business strategies.
    • Establishes and monitors country policies for Rewards survey submissions. Ensures local competitive market data is analyzed regularly, results interpreted accurately and strategic action plan is built and executed in response to emerging trends.
    • Help manage Rewards vendor and third party administrator relationships within the region. Identifies and evaluates vendors and service providers to ensure quality service at a reasonable price.
    • In partnership with the Regional in-country HR team, ensures that Rewards programs are competitive, cost effective and compliant with local laws and regulations.
    • Develop and deliver communication and feedback mechanisms to ensure employee and manager understanding and knowledge of Rewards programs. Responsible for conducting Regional training on Rewards programs and practices.

    • Become an external representative for the company by attending and actively participating in regional, country and industry Rewards forums to gain knowledge of best practices and the competitive Rewards landscape.


    • Proven experience of Compensation and Benefits/Rewards management in a multi-national corporation, with a focus on countries in EMEA. Knowledge and understanding of key business drivers, employee attraction and strategies within the EMEA Region is necessary.
    • Knowledge of UK pensions legislation.
    • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis.
    • Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline.
    • Strong analytical and financial skills.
    • Professional certification in compensation and benefits management is an asset.
    • Experience in the technology industry desired.
    • Established network of Rewards resources for the purpose of sourcing information and services.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to develop strong partnership/relationships with HR and line management.
    • Dedicated team player, demonstrating initiative and independence.
    • This position requires occasional travel to countries within the region.
    • Bilingual English/European language is a plus.
