    We’re looking for a talented sales professional with experience of selling to large retail customers to join us as an Account Manager with an additional responsibility for Business Development. To be successful you will need to build close relationships with high-profile customers in order to drive brand preference for Zebra’s portfolio of innovative scanning products and services in Italy.  

    Responsibilities

    • Actively engage specific end-user & channel accounts with the intent to implement plans that identify, develop, and enhance sales opportunities and ultimately drive incremental revenue for Zebra. Responsible for achieving multi-million sales goals within assigned end-user retail accounts.
    • Initiate and build solid working relationships with diverse customer & partner decision makers and influencers, leading customer presentations and creating propositions.
    • Proactively sell innovative retail-focused solutions encompassing a wide range of products and services, setting brand preference for Zebra’s scanning portfolio.
    • Leverages relationships with other business units and external partners to deliver solution.
    • Plans and mobilizes internal resources. Leverages Zebra's relationship with partners to drive account, ensuring the broadest partner, ISV and alliance ecosystem to ensure Zebra is designed in as part of the overall solution.
    • Serve as the liaison between Zebra and the account and be the overall account advocate.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with accounts that are of high strategic importance to Zebra. Consistently deliver high levels of customer service.
    • Execute and manage the go-to-market strategy for partners in collaboration with the rest of the channel team and other Sales teams
    • Works with cross functional teams to build appropriate engagement to deliver revenue targets.

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrable experience selling ADC/scanning solutions in the retail sector.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good listening and presentation skills in both German and English
    • An excellent team player with proven experience of operating successfully in a multinational, matrix organisation
    • Demonstrable business development skills
    • Strong scanning and/or point of sales (POS) technology experience
    • Significant experience of building business development alignment with both internal teams and external partner channels
    • Must be able to effectively coordinate across various groups and functional teams both inside and outside of the business.
    • Self-starter who enjoys working in a team to accomplish goals
    • Good attention to detail
