  • Overview

    The primary purpose of this role is to plan, develop and support impactful customer briefings and events taking place in our Zebra Experience Centre (ZEC),  both internal and external, that support Zebra’s business objectives.   This position will include collaboration with sales, vertical marketing, product marketing, product management, system engineering, ZEC committee and others to plan and execute customer and partner briefings.     This is a hands on position that will require a willingness to handle everything from managing bookings and tracking opportunity pipeline, providing briefing vision and direction, scheduling transportation and catering, ensuring ZEC equipment is charged and appropriate for the scheduled briefings, including AV equipment working.    This is a highly visible position which requires professionalism and ability to interact with C-suite executives.

    The position also requires cross functional teamwork to ensure a positive and productive work environment, consistent internal and external experiences, all in line with Zebra’s values.


    • Responsible for planning and co-hosting customer briefings, including:
    • Uncover desired meeting outcomes from sales teams
    • Secure & prep necessary SMEs for participation
    • Host customers/partners and ensuring positive experience
    • Manage the booking tool and track opportunity pipeline against customer visits
    • Participate in Experience Centre committee meetings and ensure that recommended updates are carried out
    • Ensure devices and demos are working for each visit plus provide basic technical support
    • Support tours of the Experience Centre as needed
    • Promote the Experience Centre both internally and to partners
    • Gather feedback on tours and briefings to drive improvements
    • Submit monthly reports to Marketing Director and Marketing Operations lead
    • Provide other event support and administration as require
    • Support analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of event tactics
    • Thorough understanding of lead process, and interlock with core marketing delivery agents


    Required qualifications and experience:


    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience such as event logistics/management.

    • Some marketing experience with solid understanding of marketing planning, execution and measurement best practices
    • Solid program management experience including the ability to set and drive requirements across multiple functional arenas.
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking including the ability to create insights and drive planning from diverse sets of data
    • Strong budget execution skills, negotiating tactics and vendor management
    • Proven event management, logistics and/or customer briefing management experience in a business or hi-tech industry environment 
    • Excellent communication as well as interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are required. 
    • Self-motivated and directed person, requiring minimal supervision for successful assignment completion.
    • Excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the business
    • Ability to work at all levels and will be comfortable presenting at senior executive level.
