    We’re looking for a talented sales professional with experience of selling technology to large customers in the retail sector through large complex partner and system integrators.   Joining us as a Channel Account Manager, with additional responsibility for Business Development you will build close relationships with high-profile channels which address key end user customers in order to drive brand preference for Zebra’s portfolio of innovative scanning products and services across the DACH Region.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Develop sales opportunities in Zebra scanning portfolio in retail (but also, if relevant for specific countries: in banking, pharmacies, healthcare) through active engagement of specific channel partners to drive incremental revenue for Zebra.
    • Responsible for achieving multi-million sales goals within assigned channel accounts in the Region by proactive selling of innovative scanning solutions, setting brand preference for Zebra’s scanning portfolio.
    • Develop retail sales ecosystem of major System Integrators (NCR, Diebold Nixdorf, IBM, Toshiba, etc.), and build with them solid working relationships to drive and influence sales opportunities.
    • Monitoring and gaining competitive market information (pricing, promotions, market activities) and preparing, recommending and executing competitive attack plans.
    • Leverage Zebra's relationship with including Global System Integrators, ISVs and other influencers, to ensure Zebra is designed in as part of the overall solution.
    • Plan and mobilize internal resources.
    • Execute and manage the go-to-market strategy for specified partners in collaboration with the rest of the country and regional channel teams and other sales teams
    • Work with cross functional teams to build appropriate engagement to deliver revenue targets.

     

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrable solutions, hardware and services selling experience in the retail sector.
    • Demonstrable sales success through an industry-aligned resale and/or integration channel
    • Strong scanning and/or point of sales (POS) technology experience preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good listening and presentation skills in German (native) and English. Additional language skills in-region are desirable
    • An excellent team player with proven experience of operating successfully in a multinational, matrix organisation
    • Demonstrable business development skills
    • Must be able to effectively coordinate across various groups and functional teams both inside and outside of the business.
    • Self-starter who enjoys working in a team to accomplish goals
    • Good attention to detail
    • Work region is DACH. This role is based in Germany, within reach of Paderborn, but the successful candidate must have the ability to travel across the region on a regular basis/as required
