    The Events Marketing Specialist supports the Senior Events Manager in planning, developing and implementing internal and external events across EMEA to support the business in achieving their strategic and sales objectives. The role also incorporates management of associated communication, process (internal & external) advice, lead generation and overall brand guidance across the business, production of materials and sharing of best practices.

    The Events Team operates in an exceptionally fast paced environment across several functions within the wider organisation and across several different format of events and tradeshows.   The role requires the successful candidate to undertake regular business trips across the region


    Under guidance of the Senior Events Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering events from conception through to completion that supports sales objectives which will include Channel Partner Conference, Tradeshows, Incentive Events, Internal Sales Events and production and management of event support materials for Field.   The successful candidate will be responsible for project managing event programmes, including:


      • Contribute to development of project scope and milestone-driven plan
      • Construction of project teams and responsibilities matrix
      • Logistical planning
      • Management of project to time and within budget
      • Budget construction and management, plus ROI reporting
      • General and admin support to the Senior Events Manager
      • Work with brand guidelines and ensure these are communicated and adhered to at Zebra events and all design elements.
      • Delegate management on larger events
      • Builds strong working relationships with internal customers, external customers/ Partners, and effectively manages resources and suppliers


    We're looking for someone seeking a progression opportunity, or a  first role owning Tradeshow organisation from conception to delivery.  A positive, industrious and resilient person who can handle managing multiple events at once as the norm.  Key skills will include: 


      • Thorough understanding of planning and execution of tradeshows in particular
      • Strong budget execution skills, negotiating tactics and vendor management
      • Effective partnership with appropriate SME/Campaign/Field specialists
      • Matrix Management
      • DAM, CRM, Cvent (desirable but not essential), inquiry management & lead routing systems
      • Effective communication (RACI)
      • Project management including budget management, vendor management, project plan management and prioritization.
      • Digital/ Social Media Marketing
      • Strong understanding of event strategy, operations, and integrated event marketing 
      • Experience in corporate event management, gained in a technology company (desirable) 
      • Excellent communication as well as interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
      • High energy, outgoing, “can do” personality. Ability to thrive in a changing environment.
