    We have an exciting new role in our EMEA Technical Solutions Group working with a high profile client in retaail to create a strong, close partnership with the customer's own Enterprise Architecture function.  

    We need a talented Technical Pre-Sales Professional that can embed themselves within our customer’s operations, generating a deep understanding of the customer’s systems, infrastructure, applications, processes and people enabling true Pre-Sales Consultancy as we introduce more complex Solutions incorporating software and services in addition to hardware,  

    Our Technical Solutions Group team members are commercially aware, customer facing professionals who partner with our Account Managers to drive brand preference for Zebra's technology solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with the customer to align on a joint technology strategy and roadmap of activities, leading the coordination of all technical sales activities related to the account and technical aspects of partner relationships. 
    • Deliver high-impact in-depth and high-level presentations
    • Proactively plan to prevent post sales issues that lead to decline in customer satisfaction and delays of successive phases of a project – act as the custodian of customer satisfaction within the account.
    • Work closely with Account Managers to plan and execute the overall account strategy and build an extensive network of trusted working relationships at all levels and across key functions within the customer organization

    Qualifications

    We're looking for an experienced, senior architect with outstanding 'C' Level customer relationship management expertise.  Ideally, we're loking for someone who has strong experience of the retail market and its operational workflows although similar experience from other industries is equally interesting.    Our successful candidate will have demonstrable Enterprise Architect skill-set, British Computer Society (BCS) and/or TOGAF 9 certification or equivalent and proven experience of complex change management /large scale business transformation projects (e.g. ERP migration/implementation). 

     

    A truly pro-active and resourceful team player with personal credibility and a proven track record of senior level (CIO, CIO-1) customer interaction and trusted relationships is critical to the success of this role.   An ability to articulate complex technical solutions clearly to various management levels and to establish rapport across internal and external organisations is also very important.
