The role:

We are looking for an outstanding senior sales professional with deep understanding of the German retail sector, to join our Multinational Accounts team! Developing the go-to-market strategy and business development priorities for 2 large, high profile retail clients, this is a critical role to build and grow Zebra solutions across these accounts in Germany.

 

The Multinational Account Manager is part of the team which drives standard methodology and large deal pipeline within our strategic accounts in EMEA across Retail, Transport & Logistics, Manufacturing and Healthcare. This is a diverse team made up of specialists within specific industry solutions and verticals, Multinational Accounts and sales engineering. Setting brand preference for Zebra's range of products and solutions at the highest level within your accounts, driving business across Germany.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define critical steps required and define engagement model to drive business development for specified Multinational Accounts
  • Create plan and ensure alignment across regional sales leads and global services, channel and business units
  • Link sales and business development activity with relevant business units to ensure execution into developed sales opportunities
  • Lead all aspects of the efficiency of business development and GTM strategies, ensuring internal metrics and commitments are met. Implement changes as required to hit targets.
  • Work closely with marketing to build and showcase Zebra's value into the Multinational Accounts
  • Agree and achieve sales targets for the key account development plan.
  • Maintain a pivotal role in ensuring case studies and PR opportunities are improved in the target Multi National accounts.
  • Communicate new applications, product opportunities that would drive business into the Multinational accounts and develop these ideas with the appropriate internal group within Zebra Europe.

 

Qualifications

A phenomenal relationship builder who can form trusted partnerships with high-value, prominent retail customers, as well as with colleagues inside Zebra. Personal credibility with customers is needed; demonstrating the ability to lead sales conversations and own relationships.

 

Resourcefulness, self motivation and an engaging, positive demeanour are meaningful attributes for this role.

 

Deep understanding and knowledge of retail customers in Germany is essential . You will need to be happy to travel regularly within Germany and other European countries,  and be able to organise your time and workload with minimal input from your manager.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable solutions selling experience into large, complex retail accounts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good listening and presentation skills
  • English speaker, multi-lingual preferably
  • Significant experience of building business development alignment with both internal teams and external partner channels as routes to market for mobility
