We have created a new opportunity for a Vertical Business Development Consultant, Healthcare to join our Strategy and Business Development department.   This department is a key part of the sales organization in EMEA and works closely with EMEA leadership, regional sales, channel and product groups to deliver actionable strategies and tactics.  These strategies are based on a thorough external and internal data analysis, to continue to grow Zebra's business and support sales activities in the region.

 

Healthcare is a strong growing vertical with clear potential to increase further, due to changing legislation pressure and the increased need for digitalization.   The current pandemic has accelerated these trends and drives many healthcare organizations and countries to invest in the efficiency of the healthcare sector.

 

 

This is a quota-carrying sales position working to specific targets which includes focusing on individual accounts. 

 

Key goals:  

  • to build and develop an actionable plan for the manufacturing vertical, in strong alignment with the regional sales organization,
  • to drive, coordinate and execute specific vertical initiatives,
  • to be an expert and evangelist, internally and externally, successfully positioning Zebra as a thought leader in the industry
  • to represent Zebra, participate in and speak key industry specific events

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Director of Strategy and Business Development, and joining a multi-cultural / multi-functional team, the role has key responsibilities including: 

 

Sales Support:  A significant part of the role is to provide a consultative sales capability centered around customer visits, assessments and executive briefings. Become the “GoTo” person for manufacturing information and advice to the Sales Teams in region.       

 

Marketing Support: Providing support to regional marketing initiatives with priorities, tactics and content.

 

Segment strategy: supporting regional priorities as an input to Regional Product Management for product requirements, to guide sales resource assignments and incentives.    

     

Services and project execution: occasionally act as a billable resource for project execution in initial assessments and ROI development.    

 

Public Relations: representing Zebra in region   

 

Channel Development: Maintain relationships with regional segment channel leaders, including hardware and software reselling partners and key influencers

 

Events: Support regional events as needed 

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with extensive knowledge of, and experience of working in the healthcare sector, ideally with a focus on healthcare digitalization.

 

A proven relationship builder with a deep understanding of healthcare settings who can influence others internally to create and drive a strategy.


Strong consulting or selling skills, ideally in IT or technology solutions are important to enable you to articulate a plan which includes the right propositions, partner selection and areas like marketing support and PR etc.

 

Fluent English is essential and other European languages are a plus
